Think how many time your weapons have gone thou another ship. I've been playing the game for years and i cant think of a specific occasion where that happened. Even with drake blobs I dont recall any time a missile went around another ships to hit...

I have to agree with goose, heavy missile range isn't an issue. Do you have problems with caracals? Nighthawks? or Sacrilige? Nope. The problem with the drake is it's tier 2 so get a hp bonus and on top of that gets a resist bonus making it a hug...
